It's a Plunderful Life

Description

Santa Claus is comin' aboard! Set sail for the holiday season with It’s a Plunderful Life; a pirate-themed Christmas cabaret, packed stem to stern with local talent and holiday pirate nonsense. Hosted by the notorious ‘Mick the Dick’, played by Iain Moggach, this one-night-only variety show brings together some of the funniest and most talented performers Orillia and Simcoe County have to offer for a gleefully ridiculous night of holiday entertainment. Our ship’s hull is stocked with music, burlesque, comedy, and festive mischief, with all proceeds going directly to support this local arts organization and two local charities: Christmas Cheer and Camphill Communities Ontario. Expect big laughs, surprising performances, a little seasonal sparkle, and enough pirate nonsense to make even the Grinch say “Yarrr that be too much pirate nonsense!” Whether you love Christmas, comedy, cabaret, or just want a holiday season night out that does not feel like the same old thing, It’s a Plunderful Life is ready to hoist the sail and kick off December in style. Join Burro’d Theatre at the Orillia Opera House on Wednesday December 2 at 7:30 PM for a festive voyage unlike any other! More info @ burrod.ca/shows
