Description
Grow the Change is a free community event where you'll learn, connect, and get inspired to create beautiful outdoor spaces while discovering practical ways to garden in a changing climate.
In partnership with OMAH, this hands-on event features four engaging workshops designed to educate, inspire, and give you skills you can take home:
✿ Climate Smart Gardening – Learn how to build resilient gardens that conserve water, support biodiversity, and thrive in changing weather conditions.
✿ Native Seed Saving – Discover the importance of native plants and how to collect, save, and grow seeds to support local ecosystems for years to come.
✿ Plant Therapy – Explore the connection between plants, wellness, and mindfulness, and experience how gardening can benefit both your outdoor space and your well-being.
✿ Make Your Own Hypertufa Pot – Get creative with a hands-on workshop where you'll craft your own unique hypertufa planter to take home and enjoy.
Attend a morning session, an afternoon session, or stay for the full day on Saturday, September 19th and experience everything the event has to offer. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started, you'll leave with new ideas, practical knowledge, and the inspiration to grow a healthier, more sustainable landscape.
Come learn, create, connect, and help Grow the Change, one garden at a time.
