Downtown Orillia Celebrates the Arrival of Spring with a Fun-Filled Easter Event Downtown Orillia is ready to welcome spring with a lively, family-friendly Easter celebration! The Downtown Orillia Business Improvement Area (DOBIA), together with the Orillia Public Library and the Orillia Farmers’ Market, invites the community to join in the seasonal fun on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Event Details: • Date: Saturday, April 4, 2026 • Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm • Location: Downtown Orillia (Missis saga St. E from Albert St. to Front St.) • Starting Point: Orillia Library Courtyard At the heart of the celebration is the Great Egg Hunt. Kids can follow the Bunny Trail through downtown, collecting six different coloured eggs hidden along the way. Once all eggs are gathered, participants can return to the Library Courtyard to exchange them for a Bunny Bag filled with sweet treats. Families can also use the Bunny Trail map to discover local shops, many of which will be offering special deals during the event. There’s even more to enjoy throughout the morning: • Meet and snap photos with the Easter Bunny at the library • Check out a police cruiser, fire truck, and ambulance at Couchiching Brewery’s parking lot, with local emergency services on site • Stop by the selfie station sponsored by Jack & Maddy’s for fun photo moments • Decorate cookies courtesy of Mariposa Market • Take part in Easter-themed STEAM activities at the library (running until 1:00 p.m.)
